Wicked PR Launches Social Media Campaign For Krystal Blitz Energy Drink

Energy drink fans looking to get their hands on an icy cold, refreshing Krystal Blitz Energy Drink are in luck this week thanks to a social media campaign designed and executed by Wicked PR.

The weeklong initiative requires guests to stay tuned to Krystal’s Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube pages to discover specific web addresses that contain a coupon for a free Krystal Blitz, the fast food industry’s first branded energy drink.

Each web page containing the free Krystal Blitz offer remains live only temporarily, and once the page disappears, guests have to stay tuned for the web address to the next coupon posted. Guests are able to share the coupon’s web page directly with their friends by posting the most current link to their Facebook wall or via Twitter.

“Krystal has a super loyal fan base that is very active online, and we’re always looking for fun ways to engage them, get them involved and reward them for doing so,” shared Colin Cooley of Wicked PR. “The great thing about a real-time online initiative like this is it allows a brand to be flexible and more immediate.”

“If you’re running a coupon in print you have to decide ahead of time exactly when it would run, what day, what week and so forth, and once that media is bought it’s generally locked in. This promotion online allows us to adapt as we go. If consumers seem to be engaging well with it and desire more, we can crank it up some to give them what they want. If it seems to be too much engagement, we can tone it down.”
